PHP - The if...else Statement
Use the if....else statement to execute some code if a condition is true and another code if the condition is false.Syntax
if (condition) {
code to be executed if condition is true;
} else {
code to be executed if condition is false;
}
The example below will output "Have a good day!" if the current
time is less than 20, and "Have a good night!" otherwise:code to be executed if condition is true;
} else {
code to be executed if condition is false;
}
Example
<?php
$t = date("H");
if ($t < "20") {
echo "Have a good day!";
} else {
echo "Have a good night!";
}
?>
$t = date("H");
if ($t < "20") {
echo "Have a good day!";
} else {
echo "Have a good night!";
}
?>
